Bringing a social media lifestyle brand to the app ecosystem

Body RX, was a successful fitness and lifestyle brand on Instagram that wanted to expand into mobile. The challenge was designing a structure that balanced diverse content (recipes, fitness tracking, news) without overwhelming users.

My partner and I collaborated to define the app’s core structure and reduce it to 3–5 main sections. From there, we mapped features, refined UI elements, and tested layout patterns for clarity and consistency.

Although the project was paused, we delivered:

  • A bottom nav structure aligned with brand priorities

  • Recipe finder and nutrition logging tools

  • Activity tracking and points-based rewards system
